Silence and the Fold
Each piece of paper begins its life in the silence of the studio. Paper is not simply a flat medium; it is a three-dimensional organic matter that breathes, reacts to humidity, and transforms under light. Through a rigorous exercise of repeated folds and manual weaving, the paper is modulated to create volumes, light, and shadows that reveal the geometry hidden in its apparent fragility.
The creative process is meditative and slow. It demands absolute concentration and a constant rhythm. Each fold is made by hand with mathematical precision, a gesture that combines the docility of the material with the firmness of the artist’s will. It is this duality that gives each work its unique character.

The Three Phases of Creation
1. Technical Sketch
The initial phase where the geometric blueprint is drawn. The artist calculates the modulations and perspective relationships, tracing the mathematical paths that will guide the physical folding of the paper.
2. Paper Weaving
The meticulous cutting and folding of the paper strips. Patience turns into volume as repetitive sequences build the three-dimensional, kinetic body of the artwork.
3. Color Gradation
The application of light and psychological color. Primary, earthy, and white tones interweave to create an immersive chromatic experience and a unique luminous vibration.
